  1. Probably I do and I have been diabetic for over 25 years.  Ask your doctor at the next visit not all diabetics are the same.  If you use one check that the water is warm and NOT  hot and avoid long soaks

  2. Yes, I take footbaths every week.  You just have to look at the soap and other chemicals you are using in the bath.  I would check with your doctor before adding soaps and scents.  But they are perfectly alright to do, and are actually encouraged for diabetics, since they will help care for your feet.

  3. The main reason for diabetics to watch their feet is if they have neuropathy or numbness in their feet in which they won't feel a problem if they don't look.

For most of us now in the 21st century, we take daily if not twice daily showers so we look at our feet that often. We can spot any rubs or bruises as they occur. Then we can take care to not let the problem escalate so we lose our foot.

Yes, it is ok to use a foot bath, just be very careful to dry carefully between toes and look closely at your feet to make sure you are not getting any bacterial infections in toe nails or between toes.
