I know how to do everything else in cheerleading but tumbling. Will I be able to make the cheer team?

Totally! As long as you master everything eles! make sure your jumps are high, your motions are tight, and your smile huge. Its kinda rare to have a full tumbling squad (depending on what divsion and age your at), so just blow the coaches away with the other part of your try-outs and you'll be fine! I made the cheerleading squad where i live without being able to tumble while some others girls who could tumble WONDERFULLY didn't make it, theirs more to cheer then tumbling. My coaches said i made it because i was very sharp in my motions, and i had a lot of spirit, plus my jumps were high! Soo remember that when your trying out try your best and remember you can always learn.

Only the coach can tell you this. If tumbling is required then you may have a problem.

absolutely!!  my high school only has 5 out of 17 girls that can tumble.  there are a bunch of girls that go out for cheerleading just because they can tumble but they suck at the actual cheering. judges will always pick a good cheerleader over a good tumbler. most times during judging tumbling is considered bonus points not part of your actual score.

You probably will if you can do everything else. I suggest keep working on it though because learning it would be really useful. Just be confident and show them what you can do and you will definitley make it. Good luck!

Im on a really good cheerleading team and we have won world 5 times in the past 7 years for us we have to know how to tumble our age group is mostly 15. Work on building upper body strength it will help you out big time because thats what cheer mostly is about. and just work on jumps and stuff like that
