I know i already asked this but im not getting a lot of answers. i need some help asap! TEN POINTS & THUMBS UP?

Question

me and a guy friend (who does NOT in anyway form have a crush on me) were talking and he said this guy liked me. its a guy that my guy friend and all his friends dislike. a lot. a bunch o other ppl told me he liekd me, and i thought so too myself.

but he always gives mixed signals and stuff like that. and i can't be POSITIVE.

so i argued my guy friend saying he might not like me, etc. and he said "its soo obvious"

so i said "ok we'll put it to the test. what can i do that will get hi to react a certain way, proving that he likes me" (besides ask if he likes me or asking him to hook up, etc)

any ideas? like if i do something will he react a way only a guy who liesk you would. or will he flirt a certain way, differently than if he just thought i was hot. or if i ask him a certain question would he give an answer that might hint something. how can i get him to give hints at what he thinks.. like say im cool or something.

this isnt to boost my self esteem like "how can i get him to say im pretty?" or something. its to see if my guy friend is right. i dont need self esteem boosting. i know im cool :)

Just talk to him guys usually give out signals when talking to a girl, if he's shy and likes you he'll try not to make eye contact with you, if he's not shy he'll probably smile when talking to you. But regaurdless if  he does either by simply talking to him you should get the answer your looking for.

you could try flirting with other guys to see how he reacts or if he gets jealous.... but that could backfire and he may move on so i dunno??

Maybe you should try giving him mixed signals also. Sort of like flirting with him, but not obviously. You know how to do that right? Or you could get to know him a little & make little joke like well if I was your gf we be this or that or idk. But try the flirting thing & if he flirts back then he has an interest in you. If he acts uninterested or uncomfortable, your friend could be wrong. Hope this helps =]

Give him a compliment.

If he's interested he'll probably give you a compliment back.

If he's not interested he'll probably just say thanks.

That's the general rule I think.
