My plan is to go to the optomotrest and buy say a month suply and ask for the prescription,

and then i can order them through my health insurance provider and save 20%.

Would this work? What if the optomotrest gives me a specific brand but my health insurance provider doesnt stock these?? Could i just swap to a different brand or would the brand the optomotrest recomends be based on my eyes??

I really want Focus Toric, monthly disposables because they are the cheapest from my health insurance fund?? would my optomotrest stock them and could i specificly request these??

As you can tell i have no clue.

  1. I have met this kind of situation before, here is the place I found useful.http://heath-insurance.tips-free.info/he...

  2. There are several different brands of toric as well as several different designs....meaning they use different technology to provide vision and stability.  Your doctor will prescribe the best brand and design for your specific type of astigmatism (there are several categories of astigmatism).  Once this prescription is established, you may purchase them anywhere you wish, but only that prescription.  You can't change type or power.  I would find out from your insurance what lenses are on their formulary and ask your doctor if any of those would work for your type of astigmatism.

  3. Yes, would recommend u to get softlens toric. It is the best i have tried
