YES, i know it's not a horse question, but i cant find anywhere else where people may know the answer. some people bring horses into the country from great britian, and there is a list of paper work, prices and other information you need to bring a horse into the US. . . so here is mah question:

I was looking into a breed of sheep that is in few numbers in the united states(they're growing, just not as fast) and is growing in Great Britain(faster then the us population). I wanted, if i was to raise these types of sheep, to bring in a "fresh" line into the us population and have better breeding stock/choices.

so, where would i find out about US rules on bringing animals into the country? i know there is quartine(sp) and you have to pay a good bit to bring an animal into the country, but where are the rules at and who can i ask about importing?

thanks
