No.

Because of the fact that the Earth's axis is on a slight angle to the sun, one hemisphere is hit by more sun than the other, because of shadows and longer nights. That hemisphere would be in winter or autumn, whilst the other would be in summer or spring.

Not sure what the season is where you're from, but down in Australia it's autumn.

It's very simple.  The seasons in the northern hemisphere are just the opposite of those in the southern hemisphere.  It's spring in USA, and autumn in Australia.  

The seasons have nothing to do with latitude of the country, or time zones, or altitude, or whether it is snowing in one place or another.  Those are local variations caused by local geography.  The seasons are the same in all countries in the north and just the opposite in the south, as I said.  Just because one country is at a high altitude and has snow at any given time does not make it winter most of the year.  They have summer at the same time as people at lower altitudes.  There is summer at the North Pole the same time as it is summer in Florida.

no.  the seasons are different at the same time in diff parts of the world.  that's why it's cool to go on vacation when it's winter where you live and summer somewhere else.

No, the seasons in the southern hemisphere are half a cycle out of sync with the northern hemisphere.  It's autumn there now, and when we in the northern hemisphere enter summer, they will be entering winter.
