My ex husband left us years ago, moved to a different country and has moved back to the States. I know he has a PO Box but that is about it.

I want to find out where he lives and where he works. I want to serve him papers. He is remanded by the courts to pay for 1/2 medical and child support and also maintain life insurance. He does pay child support. He does not want to be found so he does the child support but now the medical is adding up to almost $1000.

He also went from making 100k to 30k because he moved to another country. Now, being back in the states I am sure he is making much more. So in reality I am sure I can get more since he doesn't even help me with the kids. Since he left when I was pregnant, my son doesn't even know him and my daughter only remembers him vaguely.

I just want to find out how look up where he lives without going through US Search.com, Fast Data.com, etc... they don't seem as reliable plus I am only getting hits on his PO Box. I am more interested with the fact that I think he may own a house and where his job is. How can I look up purchase records?

Luckily, I have full custody of the children but he has visitation which he, of course, never used once we divorced he never tried to contact his children again. He knows my address, my phone numbers, contact info and my work information, too.

*** Fortunately for me, I love my kids more than I hate him and I focus on them and our lives so, their dad is a non-issue ***

  1. there are several ways to look for this man. It may take some time but if you stay at it you can find him yourself. You can try www.iaf.com or integrascan.com , crimetime.com or just google his name. If I can track down my ex's dad after 26 years and also where my family livedback in the 1800's you can track down this man. I am currently dealing with medical bills at 500.00 and now my child support hasn't come in two months. I have a great lawyer and he is gonna do whatever he feels is best so either I will see some money show up or I will be in court requesting the judge do an arrest warrent for failure to pay. I wish the best for you and just keep loving those babies you have

  2. What state is the po box in? I am sure you tried google(i hope). What industry does he normally work in. One you find that out try to find all the businesses in that state that specialize in this industry. Call each company and ask to speak to Mr so and so. That's how I would try to do it. Hope this helps.

Also try Zabba search, you can get names and addresses for free

  3. do you know his account number?

  4. For that you need to hire a private detective.

  5. You need to hire a private investigator for that.  Make it legal and have him also serve the papers.  I did that with my daughters sperm donor when my husband (now ex) adopted her.  He only charged me $500 to find him and serve him.  They have computer programs to locate people.

  6. you can tack person down by his email,

also google him to track down on what social networks he is, normally lots working pipl at linkedin

also try pipl.com see what it sez

  7. Do you know his SSN?  If you know this you can get in contact with him by going to the family court and tell them he hasn't paid child support.  Also, have you tried peoplefinder.com?  They usually have more than one address and sometimes they have names of relatives.

  8. you could hired a private investigater and try to find out that way.  You could also get help through social services with medical and finding him.

  9. Yes.  You are right the database searches online you mentioned are not reliable.  You mainly get old data and sometimes inaccurate data.  I would recommend hiring a private investigator.  This is something that we do on a regular basis.  We have access to a variety of databases that only licensed investigators can gain access.  You have enough information for a search and if you contact the right private investigator, you should be able to get it done within the budget that you mentioned.  We frequently conduct these type of searches at or less than your budget all across the United States depending upon the length of time it takes to locate the individual.  Make sure when hiring an investigator that you check references, insurance, and licensure status.  Don't just go by what they put on their website or advertisements.  Make sure that you can verify their credentials by alternative sources.
