  1. Actually, the USA utilizes more energy than both China and India (that's 1/3rd of the world's population).  People in the developed countries are very inefficient.  We're so worried about convenience that we don't bother to do the small things that other countries do to lighten the load.

  2. China's emmissons are MUCH larger that America's!

  3. there are portions of China where people wake up in the morning and have to dust off the suit from all the deisel trucks that run all night long!!!

its a foggy black smelly deadly mess!!!

they have been corrupted by the quest for the mighty dollar!!!

and have sold their souls and their country out for it!!

  4. You are using that information a little recklessly.  Yes, China's PER CAPITA emissions are 1/6 of the US's.  BUT, they also have over 4 times the amount of people.  The US is taking steps to act responsibly when it comes to environmental protection, we just dont have a president that really supports that right now.  Over the past few years, we have created subsidies for alternative fuels (although one of them has significantly raised the price of corn and milk), raised emissions standards for vehicles, and increased MPG efficiencies for cars.

Yes, we are the world's largest consumers, but it wont last forever.  Someone, particularly China, will overcome the US in terms of consumption soon, based on the sheer number of people that they have.  Environmental protection is not a bullying technique, it is a response from educated people that something needs to be done about a crisis that has just recently been discovered in the past few decades.  Yes, it has taken them way too long to act, but at least they are acting.  Would you suggest we dont act???

  5. The environment is very important, not only to developed countries but the entire world.  It is not bullying but responsibility.
