I'm going to be taking Micro economics, and to be completely honest, I know absolutely nothing about economics in anyway, shape, or form. Is there anyway I can prepare for this course over the summer by reading any books? Or if there is anything you can tell me about micro economics I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much.

  1. Here's a couple of suggestions. Google microeconomics books and you will get plenty of books to read.

Things to pay attention to for micro.... comparative advantage, game theory, supply and demand laws, monopolies, perfect competition, and unfortunately (especially for beginners) the list gets long quick.

  2. Micro is basically cake.  It's not "hard" at all.  It's very concept oriented.  Just make sure you know the concepts.  Trust me Micro is rather easy I got a 96% in Micro and I didn't even study for the final...because I had an A no matter what.  This was at Penn State.  Get your books early if you want to know what it's about.  My micro class covered 20 chapters, so it was rather intense.  20 chapters in 17 weeks is fast.
