  1. Excuse me who are you to judge??? I am on welfare and my husband works 70 hrs a week and i have part-time work at home. But we are not able to make ends meet because of the food costs and baby needs. I was not on welfare until my son got diagnosed with a illness and got put on special formula that cost $45 a can every two days. Who can afford that? So i went to the state and got help to feed my family. I dont abuse it i use the resources that are provided. Unless you are in a situation that makes you need help you should mind your own business. Would you take a free gift card to a food store if someone offered it? Yes because any little bit helps in todays economy. Stop judging because it will come bite you in the a** one day.

  2. i know plenty also, that's why program's like this are such a waste of money

  3. hahah Those are the type of people that vote for Democrats

  4. If it's not affecting you, and you certainly don't know the entire story unless it is, then don't worry about it.  People can be on welfare and work too in some instances.  Leave it alone.

  5. Just because you are working doesn't mean you are able to make ends meet.We have the working poor they might still below the poverty guild lines.Don't always think someone is beating the system.Yes there are some that are able too.But believe me if they are working on the books it all comes up.

  6. and?   It is perfectly possible that in spite of working full time, they don't earn enough money for a family that size and/or one or more of the family members is disabled and/or they get insurance (I am assuming that ins... means insurance, probably health insurance) through a state program intended to keep people working by preventive medical care instead of only emergency.

  7. Get a Life

  8. Who says they are taking advantage?  As long as their income is still below what is allowed, they can work, in fact many states make welfare recipients work.

  9. why is it bothering you so much? Mind your own business! If they're taking advantage of the system as you claim, they will get caught and face fines and possibly jail time. Perhaps they have something going on in their lives that you can't see cause your on the outside looking in. You don't know their circumstances or everything about their lives, just don't worry about what others are doing.
