It strikes me as absurd, because no Mc Donald "food" could qualify as a meal. Its food though, so should we say grace over it or not?

  1. I thought McDonald's was just a place where teenagers met before hopping off to the cinema or a club and where parents take their children, just the once, for a party.

Other than the aforementioned parents no grown-ups go there at all and to be honest it is not really food is it ?

Say what you like over it, I have great difficulty just looking at the bloody stuff.

    Eating from a cardboard box..indeed !

  2. Believers are always glad to bless our Father for the food He provides.  Even crummy burgers from a second rate burger joint.  ;-)

  3. You can be grateful for the animal that had to give its life to make the meat part of the meal.

What is annoying though is when a group of people get together to eat and one person has to say prayers and holds everyone up starting their food. Sure, it's not a big deal to wait a minute, but others of different or no religion feel 'hi-jacked' by this person's arrogance.

  4. Good for them.

  5. it's becuse they hope the additives dont give them cancer and will try anything to stop it from happening

  6. I guess if you believe in a God, and you believe that all of your food comes from that God, you'd thank that God for whatever he gave you.

(Just trying to consider their perspective)

  7. We should thank God for everything.  For us, a trip to McD's is special because we can't afford to feed our big family there very often.  We pray no matter where we are.

  8. what business is it of yours.

  9. It's up to you. Saying grace is just a way of saying thank you to God for it.

  10. If you're thankful. You don't say grace if you're just doing it because you usually do it, or just because you're going to eat. You say grace because you're honestly thankful. If you were starving and craving mcdonalds[which to me is unlikely since the burgers suck], you'd be grateful that someone was kind enough to buy you food from there, or even that you had a five to spare for your food.

  11. I've been to Costa Rica and seen the McCows. They don't even look like cows, seriously. I can't believe anyone would be thankful for a cow that sits in a scalding hot field starving to death. Those cows are tortured. It's the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.

  12. It never hurts to be thankful for anything.

  13. you should always be thankful for food
