I know someone who use vaseline on her face every night she's 70 but looks literally 35!?

Is it because of the vaseline. That's the only moisturizer she uses.

Yes it can work really well but it also depends on your skin type.  If you have oily skin, you'll be in trouble.

Vaseline acts as a barrier, great in the winter to protect your skin against wind, great against chafing skin, but it has absolutely no moisturizer in it. It will in fact clog your pores. It's not a solution. Buy a proper moisturizer.

tyra likes vaseline too. i use it sometimes but only as a night cream cause it's so thick.

Vaseline is NOT a moisturizer. Vaseline would be a gross and pointless thing to apply to your face as it is derived from petrol (gasoline products) and the molecular structure is too large to absorb into your skin THEREFORE clogging pores. The chemicals it is made up of by the way are nothing natural and over time would do harm to your skin not make it better.  There is no way that vaseline moisturizes your skin as it DOES NOT ABSORB. There may be other reasons she looks that good, such as staying out of the sun  most of her life? I would never put gasoline, Uh I mean vasoline on my face.

i've heard of alot of people that use that too. and it doesn't clog your pores because it's too large to get into them.

i dont know, she mightve gotten a chemical peel or something done as well. i dont think vaseline on its own can make someone look half their age, unless they took extremely good care of their skin their entire life.
