  1. Send them what you got. My wife and her sister both do. s***w em' if they fuss over it. Your thoughts are good and come from your heart. if they say they can't use your dyed hair, their just yakking.

  2. My friend tried to donate her's and they said they wouldn't take it if the dyed hair color is still visible. I'm sorry :[

  3. I donanted my hair about 2 years ago - 11 inches! I was nervous about sending it b/c I wanted to make sure they'd take it. I had colored hair from a long time ago on the very bottom of my hair. I checked their website and you CAN DONATE COLORED HAIR! Check it out...

You should totally do it! You'll never regret it. :)

P.S. Many people are confused by the fact that you cannot donate highlighted hair. That information is also on the website.

  4. I'm not sure.  You can call them and see what they say.  I'm sure you will be able to, but I'm not sure.  Good luck =D

  5. They will take it. My friend donated her hair and it is half blonde (natural) and dyed half black and they still took the hair.

  6. Hair that is colored or permed is acceptable.

Hair cut years ago is usable if it has been stored in a ponytail or braid.

Hair that has been bleached (usually this refers to highlighted hair) is not usable.  If unsure, ask your stylist. We are not able to accept bleached hair due to a chemical reaction that occurs during the manufacturing process.

Hair that is swept off of the floor is not usable because it is not bundled in a ponytail or braid.

Hair that is shaved off and not in a ponytail or braid is not usable. If shaving your head, first divide hair into multiple ponytails to cut off.

We cannot accept dreadlocks. Our manufacturer is not able to use them in our children’s hairpieces. We also cannot accept wigs, falls, hair extensions or synthetic hair.

Layered hair is acceptable if the longest layer is 10 inches.

Layered hair may be divided into multiple ponytails.

Curly hair may be pulled straight to measure the minimum 10 inches.

10 inches measured tip to tip is the minimum length needed for a hairpiece.
