I know that nowadays you can take genetic tests to find our your African/Ethnic lineage...

I would like to take one of these tests one day. My mother is European/White and my father is African, although I've never met him, would I still be able to take one of these special genetic tests to find out my African lineage?

if you go to ancestry.co.uk or .com if you are american, theres a link on there to take you to information about it. i did a google search as i was thinking about it, however, the companies that do it charge a lot. i would love to have it done, im white british and so are my ancestors but i would love to know if theres any eastern or african ethnicity in my history, i bet there is for all white people actually. i will have it done in the future, just cant afford it at the moment.
