I have looked in several shops including most of the large supermarkets and I cannot find frozen Broad beans, does anyone know a reason for this?

  1. they sell them in asda's

  2. also called fava bean , horse bean .

I see you say "I looked" and "I can't find"

BUT where is I asked the staff..??

    tsk tsk

    Edit

It occured to me that only you accualy use them

and you need to request them..

  3. You should be able to get them in shops like Iceland. A great alternative which you should try if you like broad beans are frozen soya beans.

  4. David H is right; you can still get fresh broad beans in shops. I haven't looked for frozen ones but if they're out of stock why don't you just ask when they'll be re-stocked?

My high street greengrocer has the fresh ones; so do posh old Waitrose. And if you're in an Ocado delivery zone, you can buy them online: http://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/Fre...

  5. I buy frozen and tinned Broad Beans in Tesco's so they should be available.

  6. i don't even know what broad beans are?  What are they?

  7. The season for broad beans is not over.   There are plenty in the shops.    The frozen and canned ones will be back soon.  Last seasons have run out, and this seasons are in the "pipe line".
