I know the underground railroad wasnt a real railroad but how long was the traveling in miles?

It was a way of escaped slaves from the south to find havens in the north, which you probaly know

so, the answer is hard to define, a slave in a north state might only have to go 20 miles to get over the line to a safe area

and slaves from the deep south might have had to literally hundreds of miles.
