I know there are tons of ways to relax but I can't think of any. Are there any ways for me to relax?

I need to get away from real life sometimes. Is that even possible.

  1. Have a decent meal or pleasant sexual encounter..by then you should be ready for a nice quiet nap..Sometimes I retreat to the basement, where it is darker, cooler, & quieter.  Sleep is a great restorer.


  2. Soak in a really hot bath with a good book, bubble bath,candles everywhere, and a glass of wine.  That's the only way I know how to relax!

  3. When I need to, "get away from real life" it usually means that my problems are too big for me to deal with.  If this is the case, I would suggest that you find yourself a good listener, a friend you can trust not to jump to conclusions, ask questions about what they think you are saying and just let you let it all out and be understood.  Many times having someone who did know what my position was: what I was trying to do, the risks involved in my limited position to do it, my priorities in the outcome and the limits on what I could condone if it went wrong, was enough for me to have much more self-confidence in actually dealing with the problem.  

    Reguardless, having someone you trust to chat about things, hear your views, understand you, is the best way I know to be able to relax when the world gets to be too much.  The next best is to re-read a favorite book.  I hope I've been a help, and that you have someone like that to lean on, just remember, the only way to keep friends like that is to be one yourself.
