I know this girl who always gives me compliments and i want to know why she does so.?

I know there's not a "be all" answer to why she gives me compliments but not anyone else whenever i see her. It's not a romance interest type thing at all. We're really close though as friends.

It's just that i wonder why she compliments me. She'll give me compliments about my eyes, my smile, she'll hug me, rest her head on my shoulder and hold onto me all the time while not even caring who is around to see. She is very open with me with things going on her life and comes to me for advice a lot.

I guess what i'm wondering if it's about trust she has in me and i'm wondering just how much it truly means to her for me to be there for her. I also just want to know how to keep her faith in me when we only see each other a few times a year and online is how we communicate most of the time. I just love her so much as the beautiful, caring person she is (more than anyone i've ever known) and i don't want us to drift apart when i wasn't there for so long. I really need a girl's perspective with this.

Dude, she totally digs you. Coming from a girl, she's definitely flirting. She may even be waiting for you to flirt back. Her openness shows even greater signs that she likes you. If she is giving compliments to you about your eyes, she's clearly trying to tell you that she looks deep into them, and she sees great things. Appearance is one thing, but personality is even more. If you're too shy to make a first move, respond back when she compliments you. If she smiles at you, tell her that she looks great. Let her know how nice she is. She rests her head on your shoulder -- It means that she trusts you entirely. Don't be afraid to put your arm around her. It may just lead to something ;D
