The right section is filled with Americans!! And you people watch sports on Television, so you might know :D

Is Nascar coming onto Television in Australia??

My Hubby told me it was, but I can't find it. He said it was advertised on 7, so maybe someone here saw it while watching the footy?????

Unfortunately Foxtel has it on sometimes taking airtime  away from legitimate sports.

Yes its on Ch Ten HD, Sunday mornings at 11am. Your TV must be HD or a HD setbox will do. I first seen it last Sunday morning, by chance.

To see Ch Ten on HD, you must have the ch on 1 or 12.

Edit.......I have noticed that Nascar Racing is on Saturday too. From 12pm to 1pm. Its highlights from the Slater brother's 300 nationwide series from Southern California.

I was never interested in the V8's but Cutemum has got me interested and now I'll watch it occasionally.

I find the Nascars exciting to watch and of course my kids are big fans of the movie 'Cars'..hehehe

I agree with the others, you should be able to watch it on Ten HD (channel 12).

I'm a Yank living about one hour from Daytona Beach in Florida.  I've never been able to figure out what the great romance is between NASCAR and the fans that follow it.  To me it's not a sport.  It's just a bunch of "rednecks" going around in a circle for 500 miles.................and for what?  That's about as boring as watching a fence rust!

For your sake I hope the Aussies don't get hooked on it.  It's a waste of natural resources as far as I'm concerned!

I actually enjoy Australian Football.  We do get replays of key games every so often I always make it a point to watch.
