I know this is really stupid...But where did mexicans come from originally? before Mexico?

The white originally came from places like Ireland,

Africans came from Africa.

But Meicans didn't just pop up in mexico randomly.

Where were they before they ended up in Mexico?

hahaha yes this is a dumb question but its good that you had interest to ask!  the people of Mexico are descendants of the native people that lived there for thousands of years mixed with the Spanish immigrants. in some parts of Mexico the people are more closely related to native Americans and some parts they are much closer to Spanish blood but all in all they are a mixture of two or more races just like we are.

the aztecs are the native indians and then spaniards went and invaded and then both cultures pretty much got mixed together

Most of them have been there for thousands of years. They decend from the Aztecs, Mayans, Yaqui, and Tahouramda (sp?) and many other tribes.

The rest is mostly from Spain. Mexico also has a community of Jews, Mennonites (it's more like a reservation), Afro-Latins and Italians.
