Question

My mucus is a very white color and sticky ... this isn't good for the sperm to swim ... anyone know anything i can do to thin it out?

NOT Robitussin that can cause birth defects Please NO ONE use that.

ummmm...... i have no idea what you were planning on doing with the robitussin, however, maybe you have a yeast infection.  go to the local drug store and get a home test kit or go see your doc.

Pre-seed is a sperm friendly lubricant, I read a lot on the net about it, but its kind of expensive, there are only like 6 applicants and they cost like $18.  To build fertile cm in time, you can try taking Evening Primrose Oil, but this you can only take from first day of cycle until ovulation, because it can cause uterine contractions, and if you conceive, the embryo may not implant in your uterus.  I have been taking Evening Primrose Oil, and there is a difference in my cm.  I suggest you do some research on this supplement and see if it's something that might be good for you.

Also, someone was saying about using raw eggwhites, I say you should do more research on that, because raw eggs have bacteria in them and I don't know how safe they are.

As far as immediate solutions... this may seem gross but it works... take an egg.. let it get room temperature and use the eggwhite as lubricant. The sperm need a substance that it can swim in and the consistency of the eggwhite is perfect (and no I'm not saying this because of "egg white cervical mucus" I'm saying it because it's a fact.)

If you have more time it's a good idea to invest in some Preseed lubricant. It mimics fertile CM and it feels better than any lubricant on the market (at least I think so). Hope this helps a little and good luck.

I have never heard that Robitussin causes birth defects. YOu can try using preseed. Its a sperm friendly lubricant. You can order it online at drugstore.com...Is it thick the entire month? If not it could be that you are not fertile at this point in your cycle.
