The last couple of days I have been itching and when I go to sctach my skin, there are very smal pin pricks. I wondered if they were house dust mites, but people say that they do not bite. I have even looked at bed bugs---eek! but after hoovering my mattress, I didn't see anything and my tiny marks are not like the bed bugs marks. They are not in clusters, just on their own, dotted around. I am sat at work now and itching!

Has anyone got any ideas as its horrid and I feel unclean.

Thanks

  1. Could be an STD/VD.

These are spread by either giving/receiving oral s*x.

And If you rule that out, then I would see a dermatologist.

Everyones skin reacts different to different situations.

Whats extreme to one person may be mild to another.

I would just quit scratching(this will only make it more irritated and itch more) and take a hot bath and use alot of soap, then make sure you got all the soap off (because dried soap on skin also irritates!) and use gold bond medicated powder.

    Remember GOLD BOND Medicated POWDER.

    (bolded for reference)

Oh and wash all clothes/sheets etc. on hot and dont add new detergents to the wash.

  2. Mix baking sido and viniger to put all over it. It's something new to your body and it will ajust to the "Thing" after about 5 days.

  3. Ok i would take a nice relaxing bath which could ease away the pain, if it is pin pricks it can't be chicken pocks but it could easily be something minor, if it continues for another week , go to the doctors,

    all the best xx

  4. Dry skin, irritation, allergic reaction, rash, there are a bunch of things. Because it has been going on for the last couple of days I would call and set up an appointment to see your doctor to get a definitive diagnosis. Until then I would take Benadryll (it will help with the inflammation and itching, especially if it is an allergic reaction to something or a bite or some rashes), then I would use a hypoallergenic lotion to help if your skin feels dry. Don't use the heavily scented stuff because it can make it worse. If you're thinking it's some kind of bug (which I highly doubt) then wash your sheets or get new ones, but I'd wait to do anything like that until you find out what it is for sure. Sorry, itching sucks.

  5. fleas maybe

  6. if yo have pets or have been around pets it could be you have flea bites.

  7. you cant see bed bugs without a very expensive fancy microscope, there so small.

If you wash you pillow cases and sheets on a normal basis dont worry its not bed bugs, asl long as your not just dumping them in water.

Go to the doctor they know more then us.

  8. Try using lanacane...

if you have bites on your skin, take a shower/bath with unscented soap or antibacterial bath gel and apply polysporin....

If you have bed bugs, turn off your Co2 Alarm, and spray Lysol and bug spray in your bedroom, change the sheets and clean up.... open a window and stay out of the room for a while.... turn your alarm back on.. and enjoy....

  9. chicken pox?  go see the doctor asap

  10. Flea bites? Mosquito bites?

Dust mites don't bite they just cause allergies with their waste.

You should really go to the doctors if it's spreading, you could have scabies or something!

  11. it could be scabies get it treated.

  12. Scavies or what people also refer to as scabies and biting mites These problems are microscopic and can be an embedded skin problem requiring more than topical cleansing. If appears to be the problem you might want to consider a parasitic cleanse which would include Black Walnut Extract.

And never feel like you're asking a disgusting question even if it is

you need to find out what's wrong with you and this is one good way to do it.

  13. Where are these pin-pricks?  It could be non-bug related and maybe fiberglass.
