I know what first base and home plate mean, please explain second and third base?

2nd - kissing and feeling each other above clothing, also called petting.

3rd - kissing and feeling each other under clothing, called heavy petting. Some people would include oral s*x as being 3rd base.

Home - All the way s*x.
