...well i just got off the depo-shot, and i will be switching to the pill soon. anyways i have had spotting for 3 weeks, is this normal and how long will this last most likely?

You are one of the unfortunate few that have these side-effects, most women dont get a period with Depo.

It could settle down, and i would wait at least 3 months for it to 'work', if your then still spotting, then visit your Dr again and trial the pill.

you should get regular in the first mon. after you start the pill. rare cases run up to 6 mons.

spotting is normal and not something to be worried about. You might also pass clots (tmi I know). If you have to go to the doctor for the pill (like to get the prescription or something) I would ask then. If not I would wait until you have started the pill and see what happens. Spotting is not uncommon, so don't worry to much.
