  1. Not a stupid question! You can have braces to correct one tooth. If it is a minor correction you may want to consider invisalign. Those are the clear retainers that fit over your teeth and move them slowly. Usually the fee for invisalign is very comparable to braces, and this is a far less invasive procedure. If you want your smile to be wider, it would probably require an orthodontic appliance. If you want your actual teeth to be bigger, sometimes you can have a little bit of the gum tissue removed and shaped (called gingivoplasty). Or they can also place veneers or do composite bonding. Your best bet is to see your dentist and tell him your concerns. He'll be able to guide you towards the best solutions. Some dentists will even do a no fee cosmetic consultation. It never hurts to ask. Prepare your pocketbook though! Most cosmetic procedures are pricey and not covered by insurance. Hope this helps!

  2. exactly what the dame above me said. i used to work for one of canada's largest dental firms.

  3. I wish I had tooth confidence. There are a lot of ways to get surgery on your jaw to fix one tooth but it might be excessive for one tooth. Braces would be too much too.

  4. yeah you can, i had a friend who only had a single brace on his one tooth that had a problem with it!

  5. If only one tooth is causing a problem I'm sure you can talk to your dentist about doing a procedure where he can just re-place it or putting a veneer over it

Be confident and your smile will suite you just finneeee
