If the Packers are now willing to trade him within the division, don't you think they should just release him now. Before they wouldn't release him because they were afraid he might go to a team like the Vikings. Now they are willing to trade him, and the Vikings are a possibility, why not just make the whole thing a lot easier and release him? Or is it more complicated than I am making it sound? I think it might be but I am not sure. What do you think?

  1. I think they're best bet is to keep him... I watched practice the other night and quite frankly Rodgers looks like c**p... Brohm looks good... has a nice arm but needs just a little bit of work... Rodgers can't seem to nail anything other then a short pass and even then it looks as though interceptions are really likely with how low and less then accurate they are... if Brett stays as a member of the pack they have him to catch them when the fall flat on their face later this year... aka when TT gets off of his ego trip.

If they are considering letting him go to MN they need to release him first... I think from a fans perspective that it would make the packers look alot better to release him then to trade him when ultimately he will go there if he is released... s***w your first round pick you want.. save face after all the mistakes and foolish handling surrounding the siutation... if he's that crappy that you don't want him then why demand so much for him?

  2. He wants to play with minnesota the whole "Im not interested in the Jets and Bucs" and than the "If I can't play for you why not let me play against you?" and than the Bevell hoopla...just shows why he his upset...he isn't getting what he wants..To either play for GB or since not play for a Contention ready team as in Minnesota

  3. cuz the g*y packers want something from him, so they want to trade him. but if no one really wants to trade for him, i guess theyll have no choice but to release him

  4. If the Packers release him, they don't get anything in return for him.  Not ALL about the team he's going to...just that if you're gonna give up a Pro Bowl quarterback, there's no sense in giving him up for free.  Somebody will give up alot for him.  Even if the Packers only got a 6th round pick though...that's better than releasing him and getting absolutely nothing.
