I lack confidence how to build it?

it happens that i know each and every question's answer asked by my teacher but i lack confidence what should i do so that atleast i may be able to just stand up.........thx for reply

    become a cheer leader at least.


  2. For this u will have to develop confidence!

    U seem to be an introvert.

    Interact wit more and more people,take part in stage shows,quiz,elocution etc.

    U can start by practising speeches with family/friends.

    this would build up your confidence.

  3. Congratulations.

    You need to practise by standing in the front of a mirror, look in the mirror make eye contact with the image in the mirror and ask a Q? then keeping the eye contact and answer the Q.

    If you have a friend or family member then have them ask you the Q? and you can give them the answer. In both cases you  have to be sited at the beginning and when asked, Stand up straight and answer, then sit down, maintaining a bold posture if not all the time  but most of the time, it will do wonders.

    Tip for Posture:

    From what I can see your posture looks Ok in the picture. But I am not able to see the whole upper body.

    At all times, tuck your tummy in, push out you chest a little, pull back your shoulder, and then make sure your spine is not curved, keep it straight.

    Start by keeping the spine straight, do this in the front of the mirror siting up and standing, face the mirror full front and then side ways then adjust the position, so it is not obviously unnatural looking to you, go very slow as far as pushing out, or pulling in. Then hold it, in few days readjust it. Do this in the privacy of the home or in a rest room when no one is looking, but you will find that most female may be doing it, in any rest rooms, after straitening up their attiere and applying the make up. All of te family members in my family do it at home all the time before stepping out of the home.

    Alway ware clasic attiers, they are always in style or things that are in style and you are not affraid to or uncomfortable to put it on.

    Do Yoga, or breathing exercises. You can find them on the net, or in the library.

    Yoga

    Yoga is short for Yogic exercises.

    It originated in India and it is has religious over tone at one time, people were interested in living good life in Harmony with nature and the religion, and in the process were trying to achieve salvation.

    Russi-munises had their ways or methods, other group like Jogi had their method ....... and Yogi were following this method. To-day loosely known world over as yoga, they discover that, they were able to derive good benefits by holding certain position for few minute, and thinking nothing but of salvation, they found peace of mind in doing so and at the same time benefited physically. Some then stated experimenting, with deferent words or sounds found in nature, from the prevailing language(Sanskrit), the main sound used is the sound that you can here in certain places on earth it is a peaceful sound of the rotation of the earth, through the space, neglecting all other relative motions we, on earth, are moving at about 1076 miles per hour, there is a certain hum to it that sounds like "Oommm" this is the basic chant, done by students and the teachers of yoga, in so doing they got extra benefits of putting more air through the lungs, which in turn gave more oxygen to the body(brain) they realized mind clearing effects.

    Some Yogi started doing Jup(repeating the words over and over again, like hail Mary prayers) they may hold a position and using a bead string say the same word over and over again, and when they are all the way around the rosary they may continue for few rounds of rosary and then take new position. The Hindus have 1001 names for the God, they may use " "Oommm" by it self or add usually Santy (it means peace, but they are praying or asking for peace of mind, body and soul). Some may use Isver (a name for god) with “Oommm"("Oommm-Isver) or some other name of god.

    Most people engaging in Jogic exercises do not use mantras (Mantras are few words put together to praise the lord or ask for wish or thank the God). It may or may not have effect but basically it is used to keep track of time as far as holding the position, and then taking the new one. You may want to use a stop watch, with a bell, say Hail Mary X number of times.

    I do believe that the position and the breathing exercises that go with the positions are very beneficial, and if you are interested then at least you should try them without chants or mantras. I am not a Hindu but I do not mind even the chants if I have no objection to them and I know the exact meaning of them.

    PS

    Circumference of the earth is about 24000 mile and it comes back to same position after 24 hours (one day's time) so 1000 miles per hour, (actually 1076 at equator) almost zero at poles.

    Fear

    Fear is a good thing.

    It is there to protect you.

    It takes determination and some help to overcome the fear.

    eg Fear of darkness, height, travel....all this are very good fear to have but it must not over power ones life. It should make you alert to the situation.

    Darkness, if it makes you alert the chances of tripping and falling are less.

    Height, if you have this fear you will be careful and stay clear of the dangerous situation and avoid falling of a cliff.

    Travel, if you are alert because of this fear it will make your journey safer.

    The trick is to face the fear and turn it in to an added advantage to you by being cautious.

    How to Concentration

    Most of us have a limited attention spell (about 45 minute on an average), so trick is to increase the length of this attention spell.

    So you must find that magic period for you or assume that you are average and set an alarm for 40 minutes and start doing things with full concentration. When the alarm goes of you must take 5 minutes break and repeat the process, in few day you will be very comfortable with this arrangement. Now it is a time to increase this period to say 50 minutes or even and hour, but still take 5 minutes off and repeat this and expand the time every few days, taking the same 5 minutes beaks. Soon you will find that you will need less amount of break on your own. Setting the alarm for the length of break is very important also no matter what.

    Hints:

    1.Healthy life style is a must.

    2.Good 8 hour minimum sleep at night time or at the least 8 hours of rest.

    3.Nutritious food. Regular eating habits.

    4.Exercises, light and on regular bases.

    General Advice to Young People

    This is my general advice to all.

    You sound very young and if you are under 25, then study hard if in school or college, stay and finish it. Or join a school or college, acquire higher education.

    Avoid distraction while studying at home or at school, just concentrate on the thing that you do at the time you are doing.

    Build a carrier, youth comes but once take full advantage of it. Study hard, play some enjoy friendship, and then at age 30 or 40 or 50,-- if still unattached then try the sites like.

  4. just dont get bothered abt anyone n anything,whenever ur teacher ask a Q ,try to stand up ,think urself as the only person in the class,i know it is not easy but you r the only one who can make it happen,nobody will help u,..........

    ,.................just try it, initially u'll hesitate ,but slowly everything will b alright,remember starting is very much required at some point,and u have to find it..............
