I laugh at everything/ everything is hilarious when I'm slightly drunk? Is that normal?

Do you ever have that reaction or do you know anyone who does? I got buzzed/ slightly drunk but not s***-faced over the last weekend, when I drank wine and then hard liquor for the first time, and apparently combining them really affects me.

Everyone is different.

When I get drunk, I get all emotional and start crying and whining about stupid things! Ugh. How embarrassing!

If you don't like the way you start acting after getting "slightly drunk", then you might want to limit the amount of alcohol you consume.
