  1. I agree with annainthebox... I do custom picture framing and the 3-M picture hangers are what we recommend to everyone that doesn't want to use nails. They come in several sizes and styles depending on what type of picture you are hanging. Michael's arts and crafts has a very big selection of them.

  2. Not a problem.  There are a lot of products out there that will do exactly as you want called removable mounting tape (generally black or grey in color - white usually is not removable!).  The best product - and the one I strongly recommend  is 3M brand.  Generic or store brand may not come off.  Here is a link that may help... http://www.officesupplieslane.com/mmm722...

Seeing that you have a little while until school starts - you may want to check ebay.

Good luck in College - believe it or not - it will be the best time of your life!

  3. Use those little strips by 3-M where you just have to pull them upwards and they come off of the wall. The only adhesive you should use is those strips or brown masking tape--anything else will take of the paint and you could be charged for it. As long as the boards have a non-porous surface on the back, the strips will work just fine and will hold them all year.

  4. While I like the other three answers, what would be wrong with regular thumb tacks or push tacks?
