I leave in detroit mi and I just purchased a new house and it needs a furnace. I need financing. Help?

I paid cash for the home. I was dirt cheap. I filed bankruptcy and it was discharged in august of last year. I dont have any money saved up to just pay for the furnace but i was wondering what else could I do?

If you just purchased a new home then you should go back to the builder and ask them for a furnace.  I take it you did not get an inspection before buying?

I'm guessing you bought the home as is?  I'd call DTE energy > see number below, ask to speak with someone who specializes in providing assistance for heating issues.  They should be able to work with you on some sort of installment program.

Don't wait > winter is on the way soon > I live in Michigan also.

Adjust your budget to the sustenance level. Cut all your expenses to the absolute bone and get a second job now. Winter is coming soon.

You will have to live with Space Heaters until you save some money.  You were brave to buy the fixup house. I bought some. /
