I left a yahoo group however they continue to send me mail.How do I stop them?

I left moral_conservitism@yahoogroups and they still fill my email. Have asked several people to stop and cannot block this group in my email and they are more than annoying as any right wing nut would be. Help rid me of this mistake I and many others have made. How can they continue to send me their garbage when I dont even belong to their group?Why are they allowed to harrass me?

Here is how you can unsubscribe from a Yahoo Group:

1.Try to unsubscribe through:

2. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. ([e-mail])

If these still didn't work for you try the following options:

3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

Did you "unjoin" the group? There is also a lag time from the time a person "unjoins."

If you want to block them immediately go into your "Options" and block their email address.

depends on how you left the group. if you left via e-mail commands, expect not to show up as a member but still get group mail. there's a big delay. you'll just have to wait it out and send a complaint to yahoo (some what makes ya feel better)
