I left my Wii on the pause screen on my HDTV i forgot for how long but it wasnt more than one day and now..?

now the tv has the outline of the pause screen in blue. it says wii remote screen in blue and the outline of the boxes. how can i fix this problem?

its a sony HDTV 60"

You have to buy a new T.V, if you read the instructions for either the T.V or Wii you would have known not to leave it on a still screen for too long.

Too bad the Wii has no screen saver.

You don't tell us if your TV is projection (again what type of projection), LCD, or Plasma. If it is LCD, after you turn it-off completely for 24 hours, it may help to reduce it and over time eliminate it. If it is plasma, see if there is a white wash option.
