I left my credit card at the bar, I called and they have it. Would they have already charged me?

Foolishly i drank to much this last past saturday night and I left my credit card at the bar, I do not remember signing off or paying for my drinks, would they have already charged me or when I go and pick it up today will they charge me then....Thanks for the help

i worked in a bar for a long time.  They charged it at the end of the night for your tab i'm sure.

they probably charged it at the end of the night so they could close their books. some places you don't have to sign anything

You can call your credit card company to see if they charged you. More than likely they have already charged it once.

i think they would have run it for the drinks but could not have included anything for the tip. check your credit cards statement on-line. it should have updated by now.

I am pretty sure they closed it out  before they shut down for the night, it is standard practice.

They usually leave like 5% tip and close it out.  Each bar has a different standard.

Most bars will have you sign something prior to opening a tab that would allow them to charge your card if you are unable to sign.
