  1. The grey brown is the oxidation of the meat.  Cook them at 160 degrees and they will be fine.

  2. well...is a grey brown meat appealing to u?...usually the eye can tell u if its bad or not plus instinct even with out expert advice...if i saw grey brown meat sitting there uncooked, i would assume its bad...so yes its totally bad, id throw it out...if u do cook em make sure u cook them at a high temp to kill the bacteria collection while it was sitting out.

  3. well as long as they were covered i think its pretty safe, well i think im alone in this but i would eat it!

  4. don't do it!

    they could get you sick

    really, really don't suggest it

  5. nope, don't use them, they've probably gone bad...you should thaw meat in the fridge

  6. Cook them well done....it shouldn't be too much of a problem.  Grey brown sounds like they are not fresh in the first place.

  7. I do that all the time with ground beef, my family still eats it.  We're all healthy and happy.

  8. you can cook them but it wouldn't be a good idea.

you (or who ever will be eating them) could some serious food poisoning.

up to you, but i wouldn't try it... :]

  9. sure, but definitely cook them well done.  no medium rare today!

  10. This is how I put my meat to the test, when in doubt throw it out.

  11. Bleh, do you really want to eat something not so..appealing?

  12. I wouldn't eat that at all. Dont leave meat out in the sun.

  13. No, flies have probably landed on it and it probably actually cooked a bit under the sun.

  14. NO. And if U do, it will be nasty and U could get sick.

  15. its gone bad, don't eat it.

  16. Unless your immune to food poisoning, DONT DO IT

  17. Question is how do they smell?

If they smell sour throw them away and do not risk it.

If they aren't soured, then they are probably okay.

Frozen meat never looks as nice and red as fresh meat.

  18. It depends on if they stink or not. the color isn't the problem its on how thawed they are.  if they are still cool inside I would cook them, but its really up to you, if your unsure of the smell or if they feel slimy throw them away. good luck.

  19. As long as you just did it today and you are cooking them now, I would eat them.  Cook them done and you should be fine.  I have done that before to thaw them out, and then cooked them right away.  I have had no problem.

  20. Yes you can eat them.

The gray color is only from the air hitting the meat. they need to be heated to 140 degrees F to kill any salmonella and 150 is a good steak temp anyway.

    Dig in.

  21. I wouldn't

  22. It is highly recommended that you do not eat that meat.
