I left a wet towel and shirt in my car (that is all fabric) for over two days, and now it smells horribly. Any tips to getting it out that is not too expensive?

  1. On the floor or Seat? Scrub area with a Good Carpet Shampoo and Electric Scrubber then spray "Libberly" with Lysol.

  2. That's mildew, and you're going to have to kill it to get rid of the smell.  Shop around for good mildewcides, test on an inconspicuous spot to be sure it won't bleach the fabric, then go nuts on the area where the wet stuff was laying.  Once that's done, park your car in the sun every day for the next couple of weeks - strong sunlight works wonders at killing odors (it's the UV that really gets the job done).

    Good Luck!

  3. just go to walmart and buy some fabreze and use as directed,it will only cost 5 bucks,

  4. Go out and get a few of the Innofresh AUTO odor absorbers.  They work fantastic.  I had a problem with I don't know what in my car but after trying a couple of those sprays that didn't work, I heard about this activated carbon filter by Innofresh so I tried it.  Works really well and better than anything else I've tried.  And, I hate those fragrances!   I bought it at Kragen Auto Parts.  Maybe also available on line from www.innofresh.com
