Long story short... I pulled into the drive way yesterday and accidentally hit my dad's sick Benz. Left a big dent but didnt leave a mark on my car so I backed out and parked on the street.

My step-sister came home a little later and parked in the driveway. Later in the day my Dad sees her car and the dent and flips out.

He asked her "did you hit my car?" and she said "I don't know..." My dad grounded her for 2 weeks and now she can't go to the lake with her BFs family this weekend.

A side of me feels like I should take the blame, but anothere side of me feels like she already took the blame so there is no point in me taking it now. Plus I planned on going to 6 flags this weekend and am afraid I will get her punishment even though i'd never been in an accident.

I'm thinking about confessing on Monday. She wont be able to go to the lake, but I'll be able to go to 6 flags. I think this is fair considering I could just stay quiet and she would be punished for the whole 2 weeks.

What should I do? Is this a fair compromise?

  1. Don't tell your parents.  She prolly blames stuff on you too.

  2. Step up and be a "MAN".  If you are old enough to drive a car and still don't know what to do then it might just be too late for you.

  3. take the blame seein as it was you and seeing as ur old enuff 2 drive then u shud b old enuff 2 not listen 2 rules so u could take the blame and just break your 2 week rule

  4. Man up...so next time you get in a jam she will have your back.

  5. first of all learn to dirve u stupid idot!! ya idot and being guy u don't have the guts to tell.. shhss u r a girl!!

  6. i think you are doing the right thing.  if it was your real sister i'd say go ahead and fess up, but this broad isn't even your blood.  have some fun at six flags.

  7. Why did you sister say "I don't Know". She should have said "No". Either way you need to fess up today. Take the blame. 2 weeks is not that bad.

  8. You have to realize that the "correct" thing to do is to let your parents know you are the one that hit the car.

It is not fair to your sister to be punished for something she did not do.

  9. Your such a bad brother!!!!!

    Tell your parents NOW

Youll regret it if you leave it later

  10. Tell the truth and take the punishment.
