I was intoxicated. This person left an outrageous tip. The bartender asked me if I was sure and I said ok. Is there any way to get this money back? Can I get the bartender in trouble for this because it wasn't my signature?

  1. You yourself admit that you "let" the other person do it. Intoxication is no excuse. Learn the lesson and go on.

  2. your credit card company has to verify it was your signature and the bartender will still get the tip, but your friend will now be examined for credit card fraud and this will bring heat on you and your friend. are you sure you want your credit company doubting you and prosecuting your friend?best to let it slide as the bartenders statement will show your guilt.

  3. you are responsible for it

how many people would pull that stunt if you could get away with it?

everyone would get someone to sign and ok it and then say they were drunk to get out of paying

    your bill, your responsibility

pay it and learn from the experience
