Question:

I lied in a police statement?

I sent a report to the police because some creepy perv online started chatting me up. I won't go into too much detail, but basically, I said in my statement that I had ignored what he was saying and just blocked him, but the truth is, I actually gave him answers that I thought he would be after, such as agreeing to what he wanted me to do, because I was busy sending a report to CEOP at the time, and I was too scared to say no to him. I didn't actually do anything that he asked me to, I just told him that I was. I still lied in a plice statement though, and I am really worried, as I am only 15. What will happen?

  1. Well first off i would start off by telling a parent what u said or didnt say. 2nd if u choose to go to the police and re-tell it just explain to them that you were typing another report to CEOP at the time. and that it was nerves...and just try to explain it again..

im sure u will feel alot better!

  2. if they track it back they can trace all message blogs sent and recieved

  3. Probably nothing, but don't do that again.  Also, did you tell him you were older than you really are?  If so, he committed no crime.

Edit: Did he say he's an adult?
