this woman is my dream woman..s**y and smart and caring..and loves America..and what America stands for..why would you hate this woman..I cant find one reason...I am so glad McCain chose her for America..America will be bless with her..

  1. so far I like her

    IMO she comes across as a strong independent person with loads of common sense.

    Looking into her personel life she seems more of a "Man" than the wimps we have running presently and in the past.

    Not meaning that in a bad or sexist way, I just have more respect for an individual that is not so timid and lives their life like a real person.

    EX. could you picture john kerry gutting a moose or obama riding a 4 wheeler down a cold creek?

    I wish there was more info out there on her stances

    mainly illegal immigration and the FairTax

    I don't hate Sarah Palin. I don't think any woman does.  But I am chuckling at your logic. - it's kind of sexist and if you don't mind me saying so, a bit shallow, and biased.

  3. How can you not like her? She an outstanding athlete, runner up in a beauty contest, worked on both a commercial fishing boat as a factory production worker. She also is a journalists, even doing a stint as sportscaster on the local TV station.  She eloped with her HS sweetheart, to save money.

    She has 5 children. The oldest will be deployed on 9/11 with his Army unit, and the youngest was given life proudly, even though he was known to have Downs Syndrome.

    She's been city councilor, mayor, and then governor. She instinctively talks the talk and walks the walk.

    She's in favor of cleaning up the environment, while realizing that there's no magic cure for eliminating dependence on fossil fuels. She approved the initiation of work on a natural gas pipeline, and is in favor of drilling in Anwar (her own state) to help control and stabilize costs and availability of energy.

    She's cleaned up politics in Alaska, and vetoed over 300 unneeded spending bills. She also has a 80% aapproval rating.

    I'm sure there are additional issues, but she's more qualified to step into the Oval Office than the anointed one.

  4. s**y, smart, and a moose hunter are indeed every man's dream woman, but the real attraction is that she is strong on the conservative points where McCain may be a little weak. This was a great decision on McCain's part! I'm sure the Obama / Biden slander crews have been busy making up lies about Mrs. Palin already, but I think she's tough enough to deal with it.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree.   She doesn't believe global warming is real.   She wants to teach creationism in our public schools.  She wants to take a woman's right to choose away.   Her voice is so annoying it gives me the same feeling as fingernails on a blackboard.  I got physically nauseous listening to her  yesterday.  The only person that does that to me is Bush.   The Economy is in seriously in trouble.  Alaska is showing the worst job growth in 12 years.  She has no Global recognition.  Hillery voters will rise to the occasion to defeat a woman like this and are insulted that Mccain actually thought they would join he just because he picked a woman.  Lastly  what does it say about a woman's character when she tosses her 5 month special needs child to the nanny 60- 70 hours a week.  Family values..... give me a break.

Sarah Palin is the McCain's biggest contradiction ever.  All those times he accused Obama of being unqualified, and he goes and chooses some obscure random woman no one has ever heard of for his running mate.  It's a slap in the face to all American women.  Just because she's a woman, doesn't make her good enough to vote for.  Obama has more experience than her.  God help us if McCain wins and then dies in office.

  10. No.  She seems like a noble, sincere person.  But she's far flung right wing.  She's against choice under ANY circumstances including rape and incest.  She wants creationism taught in schools.  Sorry - I don't want to live in a church state if McCain kicks off.  

  11. The Founding Fathers would be proud.  Very proud of this woman.  I have no doubt that if elected to or put in the position of President, she would do an extraordinary job. She will do the VP job justice.  I'm very thrilled.

  13. She's a two term mayor of a hodunk area of tundra in the third least popular state in the US. She's into guns. She "says" she's "Never thought about the war". Her major accomplishment in life is winning a beauty pageant and getting some bicycle helmets for her town. It's strange that you would say, quote, "America will be bless with her.."

    Consider her unfit to hold any form of public office or authority of any sort? Yes. She is fundamentally unfit for any role requiring thought, intelligence, education, reason or rationality.

    As is anyone who claims that a big beard in the sky made the planet 6,000 years ago just for us to play on.

    The sheer idiocy of such irrational belief belies a critically flawed intellect, one which should never be trusted with any judgment requiring more thought than "Tea or coffee?".

  17. Yes!  Palin is a Splendid choice and she will make a Wonderful VP (and future President)! It just goes to show that McCain is a true maverick, reformer & genius who picks likewise!

    Palin:

    * has the record of the most beloved Governor in the US by her state (Alaska)

    * is a vocal, huge proponent of American energy independence & Alaskan drilling

    * has actually been leading people for the past several while Obama & Biden NEVER have led anyone!

    * shelved her state's pork-laden Bridge to Nowhere that McCain has ridiculed on the trail

    * will join McCain in fighting hard against earmarks

    * is a huge fighter of corruption in Alaska

    * helps McCain connect with working-class and rural voters

    * is about as far outside the Beltway as you can get

    * ran on the agenda of stopping wasteful gov't spending

    * is the mother of 5 kids!

    * has had her son deploy to Iraq

    * is for a strong US defense

    * is a widely acknowledged rising star in the Republican party

    * is an ice fisherman

    * is a moose hunter

    * is a small business owner and a lifetime NRA member

    All in all, she's a truly fine leader, citizen and patriot - who truly represents Americana (Motherhood & Apple pie)!

  19. Yes I love her, brought her downs syndrome baby to term, unlike Mr. Obama who supports full birth abortion.  Sara has more expertise than Obama!  GO MCCAIN!

    Talk about 0 experience it is Obama!  Didnt even vote for English to be the language of choice in United States, took down a flag, oh this is what terrorists would love, get a grip people!

  22. Being a Republican and having the option of choosing a hot VP, is an Americn Dream. It's a brilliant move by McCain, I just hope she has the skills. I need to do some research myself as I have was thrown a curveball with this pick.
