If you guys both like each other go for it. But make sure you guys know each other really good. I personally would never date someone off of my swim team because if you break up its probably going to be awkward. You see each other everyday. And for me my swim team is like family.

Just make sure you talk to him a lot to let him know that you're interested in him. If you're already friends, then flirt a lot. Eye contact, batting your eyes, lightly touching his arm, laughing at his jokes, that kind of stuff. If you have cell phones, text him every once in a while to make sure you're on his mind.
