  1. yeah but geography is more than countries and cities you have to learn about:

    rivers,glaciers,farming,industry,popul... and stuff like that.

its very interesting but its up to you! =]

  2. I like looking at nudie books, dosn't mean I want to be a gynocologist does it?

  3. social geography and urban planning I think might be better.

  4. you won't be waiting tables. i have a degree in english, geography, and hydrology... i work for the state of colorado doing hazard mapping for avalanches, flood zones, etc. there are always tons of government and state jobs for geography majors. you just have to be aggressive. you can also work for the department of defense with a geography degree.

you have to study more than just cities though: humans, culture, world regions, physical geography, and geographic technology, and cartography.

it's a great major and it's very interesting. you can choose to take more classes on the environment or more classes on people and cities. if you decide to major in geography... take some GIS classes, they make you very marketable in what you do.

    classes at my college included:

    world of wines

    geography of food

    conservation of world places

    geomorphology

    water resources

    geographic information systems

    remote sensing

    soils

    climatology

    applied hydrology

    mountain environment systems

    cartography

you could also study architecture, civil engineering, or anthropology, but geography is very interdisciplinary.

  5. sociology , geography , architecture , town planning . depends what level but geography will help.

  6. No.  You would do better studying History.

Geography includes the various stages of earth's formation,  volcanic activity, tectonic plates, glacial features, climate, population, map projections and much more.

  7. Architecture, town planning, there are lots of possibilities, tourism,I'm sure others can add  to the list.

  8. ya if you want to

  9. If you'd like a career in the exciting world of waiting tables, then yes.
