pokhara is the best place for travel in nepal with many fellow expats travelling there.I can give you some detail info. if you really intend to go there.No pre visa needed,get it on airport.Not far from capital city,even i used to go by a motor bike from capital city to kathmandu.

Its the one of the good place to visit in pokhara. Also try the paragliding from the airport.
