  1. Depends how you are travelling to Canada.  If you are travelling by air then you are required to have a valid passport.  IF you are travelling across a land border then your greencard is suffice.  Passport requirements for land border do not take effect until 2009.


  2. As a non US citizen, you will need a passport to enter Canada and to return to the US.  Having a green card means that you will not need a visa for a short visit.

  3. You will need your green card and your passport from your home country (where you still have citizenship)

  4. I believe that you do need a passport. They have imposed stricter laws and you need a passport to come into Canada. Well atleast that's what you need to do to come into US from Canada.
