  1. There is one bus a day run by Autolinee Moretti. It leaves Rome at 2:30 pm and arrives in Genzano Di Lucania at at 7:30 pm or 11:25 pm depending on whether you make the first connection in San Nicola di Melfi or not. IYou'll need to call the bus company for more specific information on where to pick up the bus: +39 0972 24590. http://utenti.lycos.it/genzano/trasporti... You could also take the train to Naples and get one of the buses from either Piazza Garibaldi or Vecchio Castello.

There is train service from Bari or Potenza to Genzano on the Ferrovie Appulo Lucane trains. http://www.fal-srl.it/quadriorari2003/tr... The connection to Potenza involves both a train and a bus. You can take a train from Rome to Bari and transfer to the other train line at the central station in Bari. http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html
