I like to ride rollercoasters, now that I am older and have gained weight I am unable to ride some coasters?

I have ridden plenty of coasters and it is embarrassing to get up to the ride and find out that the belts don't fit and I am unable to ride. I understand the safety issue I just think that there should be a way to tell that you can ride a particular ride before you step into line and wait all that time to find out you can't ride. Only at a few locations have I seen a seat with a belt

at the entrance of a ride.

Yes I think it's c**p that you wait all that time in line and then find out you don't fit.  Do what I do, if there is not a test seat ask one of the ride associates if you can enter through the exit line and try one of the seats.
