There are hundreds of coaches.  You just have to find the one that suits you and your needs.

Look in THE VILLAGE VOICE you'll find hundreds of ads under music.

At my supermarket, there are always flyer's of people looking for students.  I found a great guitar teacher that way.

Check out the phone book, or go on google and type in this ; reputable voice teachers in New York City, I'm sure that you'll find thousands of them......good luck to you, but be careful, there are a lot of weirdos out there, make sure that you get one that is know, when you find one check around to make sure that he/she is what they say they are !!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a vocal coach on every block in New York City ... and a dream for every light on Old Broadway.  Start in the neighborhood around Carnegie Hall (57th Street) and throw a rock. You'll hit one sure enough. And he or she will be top grade.
