yes we are a couple but iam a littlle afraid and nervous to get into this reln.. is it due to the fact that this the 1st time for me or is it bcoz she is 7 months older to me???

If this is your first relationship than you may be afraid that you will get in too far and get hurt by her. Many people are nervous or afraid about relationships because of the simple fear of getting hurt. No one wants to get hurt so we try to avoid it by avoiding the relationship in general. It could also do with the 7 months older thing, as you may be worried that she is more experienced in relationships than you are and it will make you look weak.
