I live by the lake, every night, there would be tons of lake flies by the corner of my bedroom ceilings...why?

I live by the lake, and when it gets around 9pm, i start to see lake flies all around my bedroom ceilings, especially around the corners...i don't get why i have them?

  1. Because you leave the window open and do not have a Mosquito net up on the window.  They want to be in you bedroom, as much as you want them to be there.


  2. they are gathering for the annual lake fly convention,it happens in my bedroom aswell!

  3. It's like if you lived next to a river.  When it gets to 9pm, you'd see river flies around your bedroom ceiling.  

  4. well they are lake flies so of course the would be around a lake

    and if it has rained lately water might be in the corners of ur bedroom so that could be why they are there.
