I am from the US and we have a bevy of cakes.

carrot cake with cream cheese frosting

red velvet cake

chocolate cakes all kinds with tons of different toppings

honestly there are so many cakes out there that you could have any kind you wanted.

My favorite cake is German chocolate cake its a chocolate cake with a coconut/pecan/caramel type of icing..its delicious!! and do you like frido frog? lol..when my aussie friend came to visit me she said "youse guys don't have frido frog"

chocolate sponge, with chocolate sauce in the middle, with chocolate icing, and chocolate springles on the top, witha  dollop of chocolate icecream next to it.

i am from england, kent. this type of cake is only eaten for birthdays generally.

I am from the Philippines. We have all the Western cakes here, but I prefer the native cakes prepared by my grandmother when I was a kid.

I loved the cake made from grated cassava that is baked with a mixture of coconut cream, grated coconut, cheese and cane sugar.
