I live in Bergen county NJ and have 3 sets of skis, poles and boots. Is there a store that buys used gear?

there is a campmore only like 40 min away i think

they also have swap meets at most ski lodges

Best to go with a ski swap. Ski shops won't buy used stuff, but something like Play It Again might. Although you would probably get more money for your stuff at a swap. I don't know if Jersey has swaps, but NY does if it's worth the drive.

You could also talk to some of the people who work at Ramsey Outdoors, Campmor, or EMS. None of those stores have consignment, but someone there might know where you can unload your goods. I think there is a Ski Barn on 17 by Campmor as well. They might have some ideas too.

You could also try contacting someone in the Short Hills Ski Club http://www.shorthillsskiclub.org/ maybe someone there knows about some ski swaps in your area.

Many areas have a   "Play it Again" sports franchise. Check with them or in another month or so the fall fund raisers start for the local ski clubs and ski patrol. Good Luck.
